The Sizanani Team honoured the late Nelson Mandela by spending 67 minutes at SOS Childrens’ Village in Mamelodi East on Monday 18 July 2022.

The SOS Childrens’ Village cares for neglected children and currently house about 78 kids who are cared for by a Mother for each of their 10 households.

The day was kicked off by the Team preparing bread and Cup-a-Soup for each of the children. Whilst serving these treats, other teammates offloaded items for donation, which included a decent number of blankets, warm socks and clothes, magazines, cooldrinks and rechargeable light bulbs for each of the houses at the Centre.

The staff at SOS could not stop expressing their sincere appreciation. They felt honoured by our visit on such a special day – which is marked by the gift of giving back.
