JOANNIE GENIS is a Director of LGR Incorporated and heads the firm’s Conveyancing Department, where she specialises in residential and commercial property transactions and mortgage bonds.

She obtained her BLC and LLB degrees, the latter cum laude, from the University of Pretoria and is an admitted Attorney and Conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa.

With 25 years of post-admission experience, Joannie has developed extensive expertise in complex and multifaceted property transactions. She oversees the firm’s conveyancing operations and works closely with financial institutions, estate agents, developers, corporate clients and private individuals to ensure that transactions are concluded efficiently, accurately and with meticulous attention to detail.

Joannie is known for her clear communication, practical approach and commitment to finding workable solutions to challenging transactions. She places particular emphasis on guiding clients through the conveyancing process with patience, transparency and care, while ensuring that they remain informed and supported at every stage.

She has played an active role in strengthening LGR’s conveyancing systems and processes, with a strong focus not only on achieving successful registrations, but also on delivering a positive and professional client experience throughout the transaction.
