LGR Sizanani kicked-off with a very deserving community project – that of the donation of sanitary pads to under privileged girls school at Tiyelelani Secondary School in Soshanguve.

As many parents cannot afford to buy any sanitary products for girls of school-going age, the aim with this project was to assist and give hope to the majority of girls…who often miss almost a week of school every month due to not having access to sanitary pads. This would provide them with an opportunity to participate in daily activities and focus on their education.

LGR personnel participated in this project through the sponsoring of any sanitary products, and Committee members proudly delivered these goods to Tiyelelani Secondary School on Friday, 21st October 2016.

Committee members were welcomed by the school Principal, Vice-Principals, teachers and learners – all of whom were highly appreciative.

This will be an ongoing venture, and LGR Sizanani are committed to continue to drive this worthy cause.
